ZoneAlarm Pro Vs. BlackIce

Symantec is really a nice company, they don't charge much for their stuff either so you can buy them if you like them. BI does not stop anything, it just detects it - as of the last version that I tried. I have had negative results with Sysgate (free, it hosed me up) and I can not comment on Tiny Personal Firewall (free) as I have not used it. whether it is outdated or not. have a peek here

You can activate the intrusion/tracing part, you just won't be able to find out from where (you still get the intrusion balloon though) and you get a message that says subscribers This one step will save hours of grief and frustration.
