Zone Alarm Conflict

New - Anti-Phishing Protection for Chrome Browser. Tried the reverse as well - ie. It's because now ZA Pro F does some of what AV's do in scanning downloads etc. I'll ignore it and go back to the Windows firewall and dump ZoneAlarm to avoid any conflicts with Avast.I have both running, Zonealarm outbound firewall and Avast without issues. have a peek here

I have no problem that Norton warns me about a possible conflict when I install it, but if I choose to continue than I'm doing that at my own risk and Is it right? Whichever you choose I'd recommend that you use the removal tools for both products to clean your system first and then reinstall the security product of your choice. I really did use those 2 products for years without a single problem.  If you don't want to believe me or if you think I'm not knowledgeable to notice a problem Avira Free and Zonealarm Free are not "similar security solutions": one is an antivirus, the other is a firewall. You will have to choose which you want to keep as your active security product and change the settings on the other one to be an on-demand scanner.

I would try temporarily uninstalling zone alarm firewall. The 2013 versions are now having the same warinings about the free version of Malwarebytes.

I switched to Avira AntiVir and Commodo firewall and things are much better now. The file is saved on my harddisk with a size of 8.982 Kb.
