What does it say if you right-click on it? When I tried to remove it as I do not have certain rights with the software I could not remove it. I'm aware TDR errors are logged in the EventViewer and it was a fault in the display driver, I've since downgraded to the 345.xx driver. I have been building/fixing networks and computers since Windows 95 was the new kid on the block. I found the two events I came here to ask about. I'm just curious... Restart your computer after they're installed. If the OP was able to hover on it and it remained visible then it wasn't a crashed app.
