IF your ISP gives you multiple IPs for the computers in your home - you'd need a cable modem and a HUB (Not a router.) Because the ISP sends out IPs I'm using a Quest DSL Modem Model GT701-WG. Do NOT include the <> either, they're just to identify the values for substitution. A router can do everything a hub can plus more.
